Choose the feeling first

Your Dance Does Not Need to Look Like Anyone Else’s.

Some couples want to move comfortably and enjoy the moment. Others want musical structure, a memorable entrance, or complete choreography. Kye Rivers and Ann-Marie “Anna” Bakanov will help you choose the level of complexity that fits you.

01

Natural and Comfortable

Learn connection, timing, a reliable basic, turns, and a finish so you can dance without counting every second.

02

Lightly Structured

Create a clear beginning, several repeatable phrases, and an ending that works with your song.

03

Fully Choreographed

Build a detailed routine with musical moments, transitions, staging, and enough rehearsal to make it feel owned.

Wedding lesson FAQ

Plan Without Guesswork.

When should we begin?

Earlier gives you more room to learn without pressure, but useful progress is possible on shorter timelines. Share your date and desired complexity so Kye or Anna can recommend a realistic plan.

Do we need to choose a song first?

No. If you have one, bring it. If not, you can still begin with movement, comfort, and a conversation about the feeling you want.

What should we bring to lessons?

Bring your song, any floor-size information, and—later in the process—shoes or attire that approximate what you will wear. Comfortable clothing is fine at the start.

Can you teach lifts or dips?

Simple, safe dips may be appropriate after in-person assessment. Risky lifts or acrobatics should never be attempted without qualified coaching and suitable rehearsal conditions.
